I was told to write a poem,

Write with words what I could never say.

Too cliched, she told me,

So here I go again.

The beauty of life, 

The smile on one's face.

The colour of joy,

The brilliance of hope.

The terror of fear,

The emptiness of sadness,

The feeling of loss,

The darkness inside.

We all have two halves.

Some hide their feelings,

Dig a hole and

Bury them deep down.

The ones who dare,

To reach down that pit

Face the whole you,

And decide to see it through.

These are the people worth living for.

The people worth keeping in your life.

If you ever meet one, never let him go.

Hold on for all eternity.

For if someone can't take you

when you're at your worst,

They certainly don't deserve you

When you're at your best

Behind Those Lies

Unsure of her own heart,

I have just finished reading "Reckless" by Cornelia Funke... and I've got to admit, it's her BEST YET. The characters are just soooooooo WELL-DEVELOPED. They have SOOO much depth to them... and it's so sad and sweet... and ... *at a loss for words*

It's a beautiful story. =] I hope she writes a sequel! I bet she is... >.> ... =D

As most of you probably know... I'm really not that into shopping and the whole shebang... But... there are a few things I've realised I wanted... =]

1. Skeleton Hoodie! =D 
This one doesn't actually exist, but I like it better than the other ones... =]


2. One of those old-fashioned dresses that puff out =] Sort of like a hoop skirt/bustle dress. =] hehe. 


3. I couldn't resist adding this in! =D Steampunk Necklaces! I love steampunk =]











4. This is something totally cool... but it probably hasn't been made yet... I present to you Cat Headphones/Speakers! =P (they'd be so expensive though =___= )

OI TRACEY. LISTEN UP! How do you describe someone in PERFECT words. And significant personality traits? Ah sigh... how on earth are you supposed to fit people with personalities of immense proportions into the cramped space of a "perfect word". This will take a lot of grey matter to figure out...

3. Create a band =] (like that's ever going to happen) 
4. Do something that was like... heat of the moment. Without me thinking it through about the planning and pros and cons...
5. UM..... NO IDEA... OK...that's it... nothing... I suck at this :D

Day 22- Something You Want to Learn


I went to Lang Lang's recital at the Sydney Opera House yesterday... hence the lost day... but it was WELL WORTH THE TIME!!! BRILLIANT - to say the VERY LEAST!!! His playing was phenomenal, and his dynamics... oh gosh, his dynamics - that control over his music he has... so enviable! The whole concert was just beautiful...I could've sat there for all eternity... just listening to that heavenly music... The 'Appassionata' sonata and the 'Pathetique' shall be my favourite Beethoven sonatas from hereon!


Ah... glorious times - wish they'd last.


Ok, back to topic. I would like to learn how to play like Lang Lang!!! =]


Day 23- Perfect Words to Describe 10 People You Know.


Ok... this is very hard to do. People can't just be described in one word! That'd just be like trying to fit someone with a personality of great dimensions into the confines of a stereotype - simply impossible! Ok ok... I shall now  attempt the impossible...


I can't do it... I've tried. And I can't. So there you have it. Day 23.

Day 20 - Something You Are Proud of.

Do you get that feeling when you have finished a piece of work, it looks good and you're like... YAY! So proud of this!!!
And then you look at it again a week or more later ... and you're just like... >.> This is so dodgy...

Anyway, what I'm saying is that... I am proud of myself (modest much? XP) - and other people xD
Pride is good for self-esteem. Just saying. =]

DAY TWENTY: "The only shame is to have none."

Day 20: Something You're Ashamed Of.

I remember this one thing I did, that I am really ashamed of... This was in Year 1. There was a new student at our school, and I picked on her because her English wasn't very good... and I was a bit of an obnoxious snob back then... so...I picked on her. It was her second day, and I being the stupid prick I was back then, teased her...

Afterwards, I learnt it was horribly wrong, and I never intentionally bullied anyone again... unless it's friendly teasing =]

Don't worry, we became friends afterwards. =] Anyway, that's the most memorable incident.

You know, I just realised that... whenever I'm ashamed for something I've done/said, I always try my hardest to do good things for them afterwards... it's like an instinct of mine...

How perfectly strange. =D

DAY NINETEEN: "There's no place like home."

Day 19- If I could live anywhere in the world...


I'd stay right where my friends and family are. Sure, I'd like to travel to places... but there's no place like home.

P.S. According to Jess Y, "asking so many annoying questions in such a consecutive way; and the patronising way I talk to CERTAIN PEOPLE; Leanne and my's tweeddle dee and tweedle dum act." are some other bad habits of mine. =] But nah, I don't think so. =]

I was dragged to Junior Dance yesterday - by Jess - so I missed Thursday's post. Therefore, I am making it up now. Junior Dance was more fun than I had originally expected. Jess' piano playing was nice :) Though Jess, I do have to say, Nelson's was better... (just kidding - though he played pretty well =] )


So - favourite song in the history of the world. I really can't decide... so I'll just name top 5 AT THE MOMENT. They change frequently, however, and they are NOT in any particular order. I love them all equally. Here we go:
